Individual mental health counselling is provided to adults by a Registered Counselling Therapist-Candidate (RCT-C) through video or audio conferencing at ClearMind Counselling Clinic. The clinic's vision is to offer evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive mental health services to promote mental wellness and to instill hope and strength in communities. Counselling services may be covered by insurance companies, and clients are encouraged to contact their provider before their first counselling session to see if RCT-Cs are a part of their insurance plan, and to verify how their plan compensates for counselling services.

Zarrin Ghaferi is a Registered Counselling Therapist (RCT) with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists, and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Zarrin has experience working in the field of mental health at private practice, community-based organizations, and in both residential and outpatient treatment facilities. Zarrin offers individual counselling services to adults dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, perfectionism, and interpersonal issues.

She is interested in working with diverse populations, and her experience as an immigrant has also helped her to connect and support other newcomers and racialized individuals who are struggling with their identity or are experiencing stress, anxiety, and depression due to migration and settlement.

Zarrin uses a strength-based approach and utilizes modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy, within her counselling sessions to support, empower, and assist her clients to achieve their goals.
